Undergraduate and Graduate Scholarship in Meat Science at Canadian University, Canada

Eligibility:
-Graduate students in any year of a recognized, full time MSc. or PhD. program at a Canadian University, who are conducting applied or basic meat research, are eligible to apply for the Percy Gitelman Memorial Scholarship and the CMC Associate Members Scholarship.
-Undergraduate students in any year of a recognized, full-time B.Sc. program in Agriculture and/or Food Science at a Canadian University, interested in studying Meat Science in Canada, are eligible to apply for the Ronald A. Chisholm Undergraduate Scholarship.



Two scholarships are earmarked for promising graduate students studying Meat Science in Canada. These scholarships are:
A) Percy Gitelman Memorial Scholarship, sponsored jointly by the Canadian Meat Science Association and Newly Weds Foods, Inc. ($3000)
B) CMC Associate Members Scholarship, sponsored by the Associate Members of the Canadian Meat Council. ($3000) Winners of these scholarships will be expected to present a 15 minute communication on their research at the Technical Symposium. Two scholarships are earmarked for promising undergraduate students interested in studying Meat Science in Canada:
C) Ronald A. Chisholm Undergraduate Scholarship, sponsored by Ronald A. Chisholm Ltd, international food merchants since 1928. ($2,500 each)
