-Researchers affiliated with education and research institutions outside Korea.
-Researchers affiliated with education and research institutions outside Korea. Applicants are expected to have a memorandum of agreement with a publisher.
- Researcher who published an article in A&HCI, SSCI, SCI, or SCOPUS listed journal in 2010.

The Academy of Korean Studies seeks to promote and support by a variety of means high quality overseas research activities about Korea.
