Undergraduate Scholarship for Third year Engineering students at Griffith University, Australia -2011

Selection will be based on the following criteria (attach to your application form in a resumé format evidence of the following):

-Current Full-time Student who is in their third year undergraduate School of Engineering academic program

-Demonstrated leadership potential

- Demonstrated practical competencies gained through practical experience (that is, Laboratory works or projects undertaken throughout the semester/s

- Demonstrated past academic merit (that is, any awards or scholarships)

- Referee Reports provided

- Available to be interviewed by the Assessment Panel.

A six-month Scholarship is offered to a third year Griffith School of Engineering student, enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering academic program. Applicants must demonstrate high academic achievement, personal strengths, leadership potential, and must be a visible role-model in the community. Recipients must demonstrate consistent academic achievement, ie ensuring a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5 is achieved and maintained throughout the semester. They will be committed to inter-semester work experience and additional work experience with ADG Engineers as considered appropriate. The Scholarship will cover six months of the Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering academic program which will be credited directly towards the successful candidates Student Contribution Charges. Selection will be based on review and assessment of applications, followed by interviews with short-listed applicants.
