Eligibility:
1. The scholarship is open to Bay of Plenty Polytechnic Business Administration students who are enrolled full-time in Semester 1 and are continuing on to Semester
2. Applicants must be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident



Mr Peter Bulfield was a dedicated and long serving tutor of Business Administration and NZIM programmes at the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic. Peter was teaching accounting at the Senior Technical Division, located at Tauranga Boys’ High School, before the Polytechnic even came into existence. He was also the very first computing tutor at Bay of Plenty Polytechnic. Peter is remembered by his colleagues as “very kind, very compassionate and someone who believed all students had the potential to achieve”. He passed away suddenly in 1994, and these scholarships have been made available by the Polytechnic in his memory.
