Eligibility:



-Must be of Hispanic heritage, please identify.
-Must be a New Jersey resident.
-Must enroll full-time in the 2012-2013 academic year
- Must have a minimum cumulative at an accredited college, university, community college grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. or trade school anywhere in the United States.



The Hispanic Business Council Scholarship Foundation of NJ, Inc.’s mission is to advance the educational aspirations of Hispanic students so they may become professionals, leaders and valued citizens of the community. The HBCSF accomplishes this by providing scholarships for a college education based on academic excellence and financial need. Scholarships are paid directly to the college over two semesters on behalf of the recipients once HBCSF has received confirmation that the students are registered and they maintain a 3.0 GPA during the year. In addition, HBCSF requires that the scholarship recipients complete 80 hours of community service.
