Eligibility:

Applicants should hold a Master degree in medicine, molecular/cell biology related fields or organic chemistry. Practical experience in molecular biology, cell biology and/or biochemistry will be advantageous but not essential. The successful candidates must be able to communicate in English.

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our PhD program in the field of medical biology. Department of Biology labs are based in newly opened Masaryk University campus in Brno. The Department hosts multi-national scientists and provides a highly interactive and friendly environment with state-of-the-art research facilities. In addition to regular scholarship, outstanding PhD students will receive extras from ongoing grants.

Successful candidates are

expected to work in one of the following research programs:

•Pluripotent Stem Cell

•Cancer Biology

•Recombination and DNA Repair

•Organic Synthesis of Biologically Active Compounds
