The Gama Foundation established this Postgraduate Scholarship for the purpose of encouraging postgraduate research in legal ethics and the provision of legal services, in the School of Law at the University of Canterbury.

NZ citizen or permanent resident; Graduate of Law; Intending to undertake thesis research in the School of Law at University of Canterbury.
Amount full-time tuition fees at the New Zealand domestic rate

MAIDS offers a comprehensive and flexible preparation for either for a career in international development or further studies at the doctorate level. The programme closely collaborates with like-minded institutions such as the Asian Institute of Human Rights and FOCUS on the Global South to bring first-hand knowledge on current development practice.

The project will be based on biophysical approaches including single channel recordings in isolated ventricular cardiomyocytes and action potential measurements in multicellular preparations as well as intact heart.
