Eligibility: Applicants to Master programs should: · have obtained a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution, or an equivalent qualification; and · satisfy SIAT’s requirements on physical fitness for pursuing the postgraduate program. Applicants to the visiting student program or exchange student program should: · have obtain a bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized institution or obtained an equivalent qualification; and · satisfy SIAT’s requirements on physical fitness for pursuing the postgraduate program. Applicants to PhD degree programs should: · normally have obtained a master’s degree from a recognized institution, and · satisfy SIAT’s requirements on physical fitness for pursuing the postgraduate program.
Scholarship Open for International Students: Yes
Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Science (hereinafter referred to as “SIAT”), offers 8 Master’s Degree programs and 2 PhD Degree programs to international students. The duration of a Master program is 2-3 years, and a PhD program 3-6 years. A degree certificate and a graduation certificate will be awarded to those who have completed the prescribed courses and passed thesis/dissertation defense. All the programs are offered in English.

In its endeavor to foster the spirit of innovation and scholarship in every discipline, Huawei has instituted “Huawei Maitree Scholarship” to aid Indian undergraduate and graduate students who wish to pursue higher studies in China. This initiative aims at bringing about a better understanding, appreciation and friendship between the youth of India and China.
Under this scholarship programme, 10 scholarships will be provided every year to select Indian students for undergraduate and post graduate studies in China. The scholarship would,Huawei believes, help the students dedicate themselves to the pursuit of excellence.The duration of scholarship will be upto the entire period of study, renewable every year. a. Overseas Chinese students or a national of the R.O.C.

c. Individuals who have already received a HES or a Taiwan scholarship in the past.
