The Curtin Engineering Merit International Scholarship is available to international students who have completed their first semester of study at Curtin University in 2011 in an eligible course.
Eligibility:
Applicants must meet ALL of the following criteria to be considered for the Curtin Engineering Merit International Scholarships: Be undertaking the first year of their first undergraduate degree, and completed the first semester of full time (100 credits) study with an average of 70.00 at Curtin University, in an eligible course in 2011
-Be an international student and hold a valid Student Visa – Higher Education (Subclass 573)
-Be a student of a WA College in 2010
-Receive a TER or equivalent of 95.00 or above in 2010

Australian Postgraduate Research Award in Wireless Engineering

Postgraduate Research Award for the applicants of Australia and New Zealand in University of Sydney -2011

This scholarship is funded by an ARC Linkage Projects grant and will provide support for 3 years full time PhD study at the Centre of Excellence in Telecommunications. The objective of the research project is to design advanced wireless communications systems and develop novel algorithms for smart grid applications.Applicants should have Honours 1 or 2A degree in electrical engineering or telecommunications.
Experience/background in wireless communications and channel propagation modelling, and strong mathematical skills would be an advantage. Experience in software design is highly desirable. Applicants must be Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or New Zealand citizens.The scholarship stipend is $26,669 per annum in 2011 (tax exempt).
