The applicant should have M.Sc. Physics (Preferably with a specialization in Solid State Physics) degree with at least 55% marks. CSIR-UGC/GATE/NET qualification and research experience in the area of ion-solid interactions and/or nano-materials..



Applications are invited for one Senior Research Fellow (SRF) position in a research project entitled Ion Beam Modification of Nano-sized Semiconductor Heterostructures funded by DST. The work in this project involves Ion Beam applications for synthesis and modification of Nano Particles of Si/Ge and other semiconductors in silica, HfO2 and other host materials. The work involves travel to accelerator facilities at IUAC Delhi and IGCAR Kalpakkam.
