Department of Justice Disability Scholarship Scheme

Scholarship Description

The Department of Justice developed a Disability Action Plan (DAP) in collaboration with the disability sector comprising people with a disability, consumer and advocacy organisations representing the rights and interests of people with a disability, the Victorian Disability Advisory Council and employees of the Department of Justice with a disability. One such provision is the establishment of a scholarship scheme for the award of a two-year scholarship for a justice-related course to tertiary students with a disability. The scholarships will assist the successful applicants to gain tertiary qualifications in a justice-related field and to enhance their employment opportunities either within the Victorian public service or any other area of interest to them.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD20000 (maximum per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid See Scheme Summary for the period of 2 years.
