The call for applications for the 2011 EMBL Interdisciplinary Postdocs Fellowship (EIPOD) is now open until September 15th. The fellowships are funded by EMBL and a Marie Curie Action Cofund Grant from the EU and provide young scientist with three years of secured funding. Complementary funding can be used to extend postdoctoral training up to a total duration of five years. Applicants are invited to propose an interdisciplinary project according to their scientific interest or may select from a set of predefined research projects. Successful candidates will pursue interdisciplinary projects, transferring techniques to a new context or connecting scientific fields that are usually separate, across at least two labs at the five EMBL sites.
