University of Southern Denmark offers Postdoctoral Position in the Centre for Lake Restoration (CLEAR) at the Institute of Biology, University of Southern Denmark, Denmark
To qualify you must have passed a PhD or equivalent.The University encourages all interested persons to apply, regardless of age, gender, religious affiliation, or ethnic background.
A candidate with experience in the following research areas will be preferred:
1. Chemical lake restoration techniques
2. Development of filters for nutrient removal
3. Catchment analysis using GIS
4. Sediment chemistry and biogeochemistry (phosphorus)
5. Nutrient cycling in lakes The applicant must be willing to participate in the teaching activities of the ecology group: a computer based GIS course, supervise master student and be responsible for a newly developed training course for academic staff in the environmental sector (regions, municipalities, professional advisor companies).
