Research Scholarship in Solar System Plasma Turbulence at University of Warwick, UK

Conduct research in solar system plasma turbulence, consistent with the projects outlined in the current CFSA Rolling Grant.• Pursue a programme of research in solar system plasma turbulence under the direction of the project PI S C Chapman. • Disseminate the results of this research in the recognised scientific literature, at scientific meetings both within the group and externally. • Perform limited teaching duties as requested by the Head of Department.

Eligibility: -Working towards or about to submit a PhD (or equivalent) in Physics or a related discipline. Knowledge of plasma physics.
-Knowledge of solar system/astrophysical applications.
-Expertise in time series analysis, data analysis.
-Expertise in mathematical modelling of stochastic/complex systems.
-Expertise in HPC for plasmas.
-Research track record.
-Scientific programming.
-Communication/presentation skills.
