Eligibility:
A PhD or equivalent degree in a relevant area for the job, and documented knowledge in functional neuroimaging, in particular fMRI are required. A foreign degree assessed to be equivalent to PhD is approved. The doctoral degree must have been completed no longer than three years before the application deadline, unless there are special circumstances, such as leave of absence because of sickness, maternity, clinical practice, work for trade unions or other similar circumstances. The applicant must be proficient in writing scientific text in English, and have good collaborative skills to be able to work successfully in a team.

The Stress Research Institute within the Faculty of Social Sciences at Stockholm University is a national knowledge centre in the area of stress and health. The Institute is part of the Faculty of Social Sciences at Stockholm University and conducts basic and applied research on multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary methodological approaches. The mission is to study how individuals and groups are affected by different social environments, with particular focus on stress reactions and health factors. The long-term objective of the research is to contribute to improved public health. The Stress Research Institute also houses Stockholm Stress Center – a FAS centre of excellence for interdisciplinary research on work-related stress and health.
