Candidates should hold a M. Sc degree or equivalent academic qualifications. Preference will be given to candidates who can document skills in areas such as physical oceanography, geodesy and remote sensing. Furthermore, English proficiency is essential.

The National Space Institute at DTU (DTU Space) invites applications for a 3-year PhD position, starting in 2011 on the subject of Sea Level Changes fromSatellite Altimetry. The PhD study will focus on studies of regional sea level changes derived from satellite altimetry and the impact on sea level monitoring in coastal and ice-covered regions through improved recovery of accurate sea level information.
